Sun printing on fabric, first step!

It's time to collect interesting leaves and other natural objects before winter. These will be saved and dried for sun printing next summer.

My husband made me a simple flower press, the size of a book, with two thin boards, some blotter paper and large elastic bands. I can then take it with me wherever I go, and it's so handy to press the foliage right away. Lots of fun!

Impression au soleil sur du tissu, première étape!

C'est le moment de ramasser des feuilles et autres objets naturels avant l'hiver. Ils seront sauvegardés et séchés pour faire de l'impression au soleil l'année prochaine.

Mon mari m'a confectionné un presse fleurs de la taille d'un livre, avec deux planches minces, quelques buvards et de gros élastiques. Je peux le prendre avec moi n'importe où et c'est très pratique de presser les feuillages immédiatement. On s'amuse!
