Bracelets en macramé & Statistiques

You may remember this post, about bracelets I made with my daughter over Christmas vacations. The statistics of the macramé bracelet tutorial hit the ceiling, reaching the 45'000 views in the next days. I'd never thought it would be such a star in the craft world! 

The bracelets have been pinned thousands of times on Pinterest, are still viewed everyday on Craftgawker, and have a life of their own in different countries of the world, for example in Greece, through the blog Ftiaxto! 

The mysteries of the net and it's users are endless!

Les statistiques de ce tutoriel de bracelet en macramé ont touché le plafond, approchant les 45 000 vues ces prochains jours. Je n'ai jamais imaginé un succès pareil dans le domaine du fait main! 

Les bracelets ont été "punaisés" des milliers de fois sur Pinterest et sont vus tous les jours sur le site Craftgawker. Ils mènent également leur propre vie dans différents pays du monde, notamment en Grèce, au travers du blog Ftiaxto.

Illustrator anybody?

If I was younger, I would get my education in graphic computer science, infographics, or I don't know exactly what, but something to do with design and computers! But you may not know, but I have very grey hair, and such an adventure is too late for me! 
But nevertheless, I though I could use the playful side of this science and learn about Illustrator. I did some fun exercises with my son, but I'm a bit slow, and my memory being in bad shape, I need structure!! It is why I enrolled in an Illustrator summer course at Ecole Club Migros in Neuchâtel. Alas, we are missing one person for the course to take place. Therefore, anybody interested?


Si j'étais plus jeune, je ferais une formation en graphisme par ordinateur, en infographie ou en je ne sais pas quoi exactement, mais quelque chose à voir avec le design et les ordinateurs. Mais vous ne le savez pas, mais mes cheveux sont très gris, et c'est trop tard pour moi pour une telle aventure. Néanmoins, j'ai pensé que je pouvais quand même profiter du côté ludique de cette science, et apprendre Illustrator. J'ai fait quelques exercices avec mon fils, mais je suis très lente, et ma mémoire étant en mauvais état, j'ai besoin de structure!! C'est pourquoi je me suis inscrite à un cours d'été à l'Ecole Club Migros à Neuchâtel. Hélas il manque encore un participant pour que le cours ait lieu. Alors, quelqu'un est intéressé?

Color Vibrations 1

Hi everybody!
I hope you are enjoying summer or rather the rare summer days that are given to us this year! 
I would like to share with you a new series, Color Vibrations, where I'll try a bit of color combinations, for the pleasure of the eyes or, why not, to inspire you, who knows! 
Former color students of mine will tell you how much I prize color vibrations, (using a color with its very close color neighbors, instead of using just one color). We do a lot of such exercises in my workshops. So here is the first one!

J'espère que vous profitez de l'été, ou plutôt des rares jours d'été qui nous sont donnés cette année!
J'aimerais partager avec vous une nouvelle série, Color Vibrations, où j'essayerai des combinaisons colorées, pour le plaisir des yeux, ou pourquoi pas, pour vous inspirer, qui sait!
Mes anciens élèves de cours couleurs vous diront combien je chéris les vibrations de couleur, (utiliser une couleur et ses proches voisines plutôt que n'utiliser une seule couleur). Nous faisons beaucoup d'exercices dans ce sens dans mes stages. Alors voici la première!
