On a sunny Sunday, the whole family gets together for some sewing... Indeed, a nephew is getting married, so it's time to make the young couple a wedding quilt!. All the participants at the wedding sent a stripe of fabric and we are going to sew the stripes together, with a touch of turquoise in-between.

Un dimanche ensoleillé, toute la famille se retrouve pour faire de la couture... En effet, un neveu va se marier, alors il est temps de confectionner un quilt de mariage pour le jeune couple. Tous les participants au mariage ont envoyé une bande de tissu, et nous allons les assembler, avec une touche de turquoise entre-deux.

As always there are some surprises! Some fabrics are a bit far from the cottons we asked for, but for the team, nothing is impossible! We piece the signatures into a patchwork for the back of the quilt. At last the stripes have found their place. Let's sew them together.

Comme toujours, il y a des surprises! Quelques tissus sont bien loin des cotons demandés, mais pour l'équipe rien n'est impossible! Nous assemblons les signatures en un petit patch pour le dos du quilt. Enfin les bandes ont trouvé leur place. On peut les coudre.
