The Festival of Quilts, Birmingham 2012

I came back from The Festival of Quilts with a very limited group of fabrics. I resisted temptation for my studio is just about to explode! But what a choice in the booths. I must say I was very brave not to have given in!

I very rarely buy fabrics for a specific project. I just buy fabric I like and build a large choice. I can start any kind of quilt and stay in my studio.

What kind of fabrics do you buy, and how often?

Je suis revenue du Festival of Quilts de Birmingham avec un choix restreint de tissus. J'ai résisté à la tentation, car mon atelier est sur le point d'exploser! Mais quel choix dans les boutiques! Je suis fière de ne pas avoir succombé!

Je n'achète que rarement des tissus pour un projet en particulier. J'achète des tissus parce qu'ils me plaisent et j'agrandis ainsi mon stock. Je peux commencer n'importe quel sorte de quilt en restant dans mon atelier.
