I've chosen those afghan embroidered squares to make a small wall quilt for the room of a baby girl to be born soon!

To make the irregular square easier to sew to another piece of fabric, I make a fabric border, making them really square. For that, it is necessary to make a template, tracing the shape with transparent paper.
Pour rendre le carré irrégulier plus facile à coudre à un autre morceau de tissu, je lui mets une bordure en tissu pour le rendre vraiment carré. Pour ça, il faut faire un gabarit, en décalquant la forme à l'aide d'un papier transparent.
Once the template is done, cut two squares of fabric.
Une fois que le gabarit est fait, prendre deux carrés de tissu.
Trace the template on the top square and sew following the line.
Marquer le gabarit sur le carré du dessus et coudre en suivant la ligne.
Cut inside the shape, leaving about 5 millimeters.
Couper à l'intérieur, en laissant environ 5 millimètres.
Carefully cut the corners.
Couper les coins avec précaution.
Turn the top square inside down, and press. Position the window exactly on the embroidery.
Retourner le carré du dessus à l'intérieur et repasser. Placer la fenêtre exactement sur la broderie.
Sew on the side of the "hole" and press again. You can cut excess fabrics on the back.
