Throwback Thursday, looking back at early quilts
I posted this early quilt a few weeks ago and got questions about the making go the quilt. Just this morning I found the diagram I had made to help me complete the quilt. Here it is!
J'ai publié la photo de ce quilt fait il y a des années il y a quelque temps et j'ai reçu des questions quant à la réalisation du quilt. Justement ce matin j'ai retrouvé le schéma que j'avais fait pour m'aider à réaliser ce quilt. Le voilà!

When I look at that picture, I can remember the great pleasure I had to gather black and dark grey fabrics to make the quilt.
I made the Log Cabin triangles on a very fine ground fabric. It is tied and not quilted.
Quand je regarde cette photo, je me rappelle le grand plaisir que j'ai eu à rassembler des tissus noirs et gris foncés pour faire le quilt.
J'ai fait les triangles en Log Cabin sur une toile fine. Le patchwork n'est pas quilté, mais il est noué.
