The Book!

The Book just came in the mail this morning, and I ran to open it! It's a copy of the now famous "The complete guide to designing and printing fabric" by Laurie Wisbrun. Designing fabrics has been one of my dreams since a long time, but although I've notebooks full of designs, this will be for another life! Indee, in this life, I have too much to do with cutting other people's creations in small pieces and sewing them again!
The book is full of thorough explanations for hand or digital printing, beautiful pictures and valuable information.


Le Livre est arrivé ce matin par la poste, et je me suis précipitée pour le découvrir! C'est une traduction en français du maintenant célèbre"Guide complet de l'mpression textile, Initiation au design textile" par Laurie Wisbrun.
Créer des tissus est un de mes rêves depuis très longtemps, mais bien que j'aie des cahiers pleins de dessins, ce sera pour une autre vie! En effet, dans celle-ci je suis trop occupée à couper en petits morceaux et à recoudre les créations d'autres personnes!
Le livre est plein d'explications pour l'impression digitale ou à la main, de belles photos et d'informations précieuses.
