I'm so proud as the IQSCM (Quilt Study Center & Museum) in Nebraska, USA, bought two of my quilts! The Center and Museum holds the largest quilt collection in the world (4500!) Their collections are made of ancient quilts as well as contemporary art quilts.

Je suis très fière car le IQSCM (Quilt Study Center & Museum)  au Nebraska, USA a acheté deux de mes quilts! Le centre et musée possède la plus grande collection de quilts au monde (4500!) Leur collection comprend des quilts ancients ainsi que des quilts artistiques contemporains.

You should go on their website and look around. You can also search the collection and discover old and modern quilts. There are treasures to be found, for sure!!! 

Here are 3 examples found in the collection dating from around 1890, so modern and with such a graphic impact!

The quilts are kept in drawers or loosely folded in boxes. They are regularly folded in a different way by volunteers. 

Here's an article on how the quilts are protected from insects. 

Les quilts sont gardés à plat dans des tiroirs ou pliés de façon souple dans des boites. Il sont régulièrement repliés de manière différente par des volontaires.

A beautiful quilt

Hexagonal Log Cabin Quilt, Jane Tucker, 1890, Maine

I've always loved Log Cabin quilts, but not so much Pineapple quilts, I don't really know why. But this hexagonal "pineapple" quilt really caught my eye, I love it!
It was made in 1890 in Maine, by Jane Tucker with the help of her niece, Angie.

J'ai toujours aimé les quilts Log Cabin, mais pas trop les quilts Ananas, je ne sais pas trop pourquoi. Mais ce quilt "Ananas" hexagonal" a vraiment attiré mon attention. Je l'adore!
Il a été fait en 1890 dans le Maine par Jane Tucker, avec l'aide de sa nièce Angie.

Log Cabin

You may know that I like Log Cabin quilts a lot (here and here), Well, there is an exhibition at IQSCM in Lincoln, Nebraska about Log Cabin quilts and their different designs. Go to the website to learn more and visit the exhibit. And look at that great little video they made, showing how the Log Cabin blocks can be assembled in different  designs.
