Yesterday there was a flea market in my village. Look at what I found:


Hier, il y avait une brocante dans mon village. Regardez ce que j'ai trouvé:

Do you know the rubbing method, to decorate paper or textiles?
You take the template, a piece of fabric or a piece of paper, an oil bar...


Vous connaissez la technique des empreintes?
Vous prenez le motif, une pièce de papier ou de tissu, un pastel gras...

You place the fabric or paper on top of the template, and you rub gently with the oil bar.


Vous positionnez le papier ou le tissu sur le motif, et vous frottez doucement avec le pastel.

The design appears. You can let it dry a day, and fix it with an warm iron, between two oven paper sheets.


Le motif apparait. Vous pouvez le laisser sécher un jour, puis le fixer au fer chaud, entre deux papiers pour le four.

Make a few tests before you work with precious fabrics!


Faites des tests avant de vous lancer avec de précieux tissus!
