Indeed, the famous PIVA quilt and textile workshop will be held for the last time in September 2019 in St-Moritz, Switzerland
Pia Inderbitzin, the organizer, will stop after 20 years of successful workshops.
The response to this news was such that Pia has doubled some of the courses, due to strong demand. Nobody want to be kept out of the event!

En effet, le fameux stage textile et patchwork PIVA sera organisé pour la dernière fois en septembre 2019 à St-Moritz, Suisse.
Pia Inderbitzin, l'organisatrice, s'arrêtera après un succès de 20 ans.
La réponse à cette nouvelle a été telle que Pia a dû dédoubler certains cours, personne ne veut manquer ça.

There will be five different classes and everyone is gathering in the evenings for various activities.

You'll find all the information about the event here. (6 nights, 4 1/2 days workshop) The course may seem a bit pricey to some, but consider the exceptional location, and all the advantages. The workshop is organized so that every day there's time during lunch break to take an excursion in the mountains. Above you see Bernina mountain (4048 m), after which the Bernina sewing machines are named. All gondolas are free to use, as well as public transportation. You can also enjoy free entrance to the nearby indoor and thermal bath near by.

Le stage est organisé de telle manière que chaque jour à la pause de midi, il y ai assez de temps pour faire une excursion dans les montagnes toutes proches. Ci-dessus vous voyez la Bernina (4048 m) qui a donné son nom aux machines à coudre Bernina. Tous les télécabines sont gratuits, ainsi que les transports publics. Vous pouvez aussi profiter de l'entrée gratuite à la piscine et aux bains thermaux tout proches.
I'll be giving an intensive workshop on color inspiration: Where to find it, how to use it.
We'll do all kind of exercises and challenges, all centered on color and color inspiration.
The first workshop is full, but we just opened a second one following the first one, and there are spots available from August 31 to September 5 2019.
I can't wait to be there, ten days for this last time. It will be my 5th and last time teaching there, always a most significant event for me.
Je donnerai un stage intensif sur l'inspiration couleur: Où la trouver, comment l'utiliser.
Nous ferons toutes sortes d'exercices et de défis, tous centrés sur la couleur et l'inspiration couleur.
Le premier stage est plein, mais on vient d'en ouvrir un deuxième à la suite, et il y a quelques places disponibles du 31 août au 5 septembre 2019.
Je me réjouis d'y être, cette dernière fois pour 10 jours. Cette participation sera ma 5ème et dernière fois, à chaque fois un événement marquant pour moi.
