  2. The little girl is drawing a kolam, Drawing kolams is a tradition in southern India, mostly. The geometric designs are done in front of the main entrance of the house every morning, with white rice powder. On festival days, colors are added. The designs are transmitted from mother to daughter. They draw the designs with powder in their hands with such ease, it's a real pleasure to watch.
