Her hair comb is amazing. I so love the geometries of Chinese embroidery. I coincidentally just finished a little project for my daughter inspired by quilting and embroidery from this region. I am still such a beginner, but the idea of making a beautiful little jacket it's truly timeless. http://www.flickr.com/photos/thecardboardcollective/8688632116/
Hi there! I’m Maryline Collioud-Robert and I’ve been making colourful quilts for years. I'm now offering patterns for sale. Learn more about me and my work here.
A lovely mosaic of blacks Mary. What is in the baskets top left? Bottom right looks like intricate folded handwork - is it fabric/quilting??
RépondreSupprimerThere's coal in the basket, and the textile is a Miao specialty, tiny pieces of fabrics, folded and sewn on top of each other.
RépondreSupprimerTrès belles photos!!! Comme d'habitude!!
RépondreSupprimerBon week-end!!! Bisous.
